A recent study has shown that some social media sites are removing the metadata from photos that photographers have put on specifically to stop people from taking their images without permission. In many cases, information about the rights to photographs and captions that have been specifically embedded has been taken off.

Protecting images is a constant issue for professional photographers across the UK.  They need the supports of sites and to be able to trust them to retain the copyright information they’ve specifically asked for.
